Blast Off: Calling All Future Astronauts and Aerospace Engineers!

Get ready for an explosive summer of fun and discovery in our Rocketry Camp! Campers will begin their adventure by exploring the fundamentals of rocketry, diving into Newton’s laws of motion, and learning how forces like altitude, velocity, acceleration, thrust, drag, and lift shape the flight of rockets.

Through thrilling hands-on experiments and building projects, campers will experience these concepts up close and personal—creating and launching rockets powered by air, water, and solid-fuel propellants. From the very first launch to high-flying experiments, each day will be filled with exciting challenges and discoveries.

By the end of the camp, every camper will have built their very own flight-ready model rocket, ready for takeoff. Whether they’re designing, launching, or experimenting, they’ll gain a new appreciation for the science behind flight while having an unforgettable, hands-on experience!

Cancellation Policy

Due to the popularity of our camps, we ask that you cancel your camper’s spot prior to May 1st for a full refund (minus the credit card processing fee).

If you need to cancel after May 1st and 14 days prior to the camp start date, cancellation refunds will be 50% – minus the credit card processing fee. 

NO REFUNDS are given for cancellations less than 14 days prior to the start of the camp. We understand that life happens, especially emergencies and we will try our best to work with you if you need to cancel.

In the event that the Aspen Science Center has to cancel a class, a full refund will be issued.
