Does your kid love sports? Are they a sports team super fan? Are they an athlete in training wanting to take their understanding to the next level? This fun, energetic, hands-on sports camp is for your camper! Get ready to move, explore and discover the hidden science in sports.

Whether your camper is a rising MVP or a mad scientist, they will unlock the science behind sports in this hands-on summer camp. Your camper will answer questions like, why does a curveball curve? And how does the heart know to beat faster when running? Your camper will walk away with confidence, a growth mindset, STEM and problem-solving skills, all while using teamwork while doing fun engineering challenges.

Every sport we play involves science, technology, engineering, and math. From the physics of bouncing a ball, to the biology of a beating heart, the probability in sports, to using technology in broadcasting, to gravity and even neuroscience, campers will gain a new perspective of what it means to be an athlete. Come play and learn! 

Cancellation Policy

Due to the popularity of our camps, we ask that you cancel your camper’s spot prior to May 1st for a full refund (minus the credit card processing fee).

If you need to cancel after May 1st and 14 days prior to the camp start date, cancellation refunds will be 50% – minus the credit card processing fee. 

NO REFUNDS are given for cancellations less than 14 days prior to the start of the camp. We understand that life happens, especially emergencies and we will try our best to work with you if you need to cancel.

In the event that the Aspen Science Center has to cancel a class, a full refund will be issued.
